Mission

People should own the evidence of their own work.

Careers are still judged on a one-page document of unverified claims, written under pressure, years after the work happened. We think that’s a bad system, and we think it’s fixable.

Every quarter, millions of professionals do work that is genuinely hard — a save nobody expected, a process that quietly saved the team a month, a relationship rebuilt after a bad handoff. Almost none of it is written down anywhere it can be found again.

What does get written down belongs to somebody else. Your CRM history, your review cycle, your 360 feedback — all of it sits in systems you lose access to on your last day. The one record you keep is a resume, and a resume is a claim.

Prooformance exists to close that gap. We want the act of proving your work to be as routine as logging a deal — something that happens while the context is still fresh, confirmed by the people who were actually there, and portable across every job you'll ever hold.

Not surveillance. Not a scoreboard your manager checks. A record that belongs to you, that you decide when to share, and that says something true.

What we hold to

Evidence over assertion

Every number on a record should be traceable to something that happened and someone who saw it. If it can't be backed, it shouldn't look like it is.

The record belongs to the person

Not the employer, not the manager, not us. You decide what's public, what's private, and what comes with you.

A record, not a scoreboard

We won't build leaderboards, surveillance dashboards, or anything a manager can use to rank people against each other.

Credible, not corporate

No hype, no unlock-your-potential language. The product should read like something a serious professional would put their name on.

If this is the version of career proof you want to exist, help us build it.
